About Me
My background
I was born in raised on the gulf coast, in an old, small town called Pensacola, FL. My family was always big on entertainment, specifically movies and books. I was brought up to embrace the deepest depths of my imagination, and as I came into age, I discovered it was a place without limits.
My writing roots
With a steady influence of fantasy epics, from Tolkien to Martin, Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind and Patrick Rothfuss, the genre became my ultimate passion and I've been writing since I was ten years old. If an idea floats to the mind, I put it on paper with the ultimate goal of sharing my stories with the world.
My style
For years I wrote based on my influences, and these were deep, detailed paragraphs, thousands of words and beautiful descriptions. Over time, I've found that simplicity in writing can often have a smoother flow and a larger hook for readers, so I've lightened my burden and quickened my pace. Situationally, I like to write in both ways, as some stories can be suited for one or the other.
